Scotland is home to 128 operating malt distilleries. There are 68 Scotch whisky visitor centres which are open to the public and a further eight available to visit by appointment. Scotland's distilleries come in all shapes and sizes, from large ones with innovative displays and interactive exhibits explaining the process, to small ones which have preserved their distilling techniques and secrets since the 18th century.

There are 3 distilleries on Glasgow's doorstep, one is actually in the city centre on the banks of the River Clyde. They offer excellent and varied tour experiences and they can be incorporated into your bespoke tour.
